Aspergillus flavus infection after cardiac vave replacement and antibiotic sensitivity text

Three cases of congenital heart disease were reported in this article, the patients had continuous fever after cardiac valve replacement and couldn't be diagnosed etiologically by various kinds of methods。 Exploratory throacotomy was performed twice and vegetation was found on the valve, the vegetation and valve were cut down and examined microbiologically and turned out to be deep filamentous fungal infection。 After studied its biological characters, the pathogen was identfied as Aspergillus flavus。 At the same time, some anti-fungal drugs were analyxd by antimycotic susceptibility test in vitro, the results showed that the antimycotic susceptibility testing of A。 flavus to the commonly used anti-fungal drugs varied among different strains, nystatin, ketoconazole, and clotrimazole were all proved effective。
