外文摘要：SNMP is a standard overwhelmingly accepted for the operation of network management tools and applications。 It is a protocol that allows the representation and exchange of information related to network management。 This application level protocol is usually implemented on the managed network devices。 This classic solution has the only disadvantage that it increases the costs of the managed devices。 This paper describes an innovative and cost effective SNMP compatible system， based on an SNMP-Proxy that communicates directly with the managed devices that do not support SNMP。
