Towards a Theory Based Identification of Influencing Factors for the Design of Mobile Services

扫码查看
The planning and development process of mobile services is highly dynamic due to emerging technologies and a high speed of innovation。 In the planning process a comprehensive analysis of the relevant influencing factors on the design of mobile services is necessary。 As a fundamental basis, there is a need for a scientific discussion about how to identify a balanced set of relevant influencing factors。 This paper examines the contribution of different scientific approaches for a systematic identification of influencing factors。 By combining different scientific approaches a theory based classification is derived in a two step process。 The classification is evaluated using an inductive procedure。 The paper shows that with a few specific constraints taken into consideration a theory based identification of influencing factors is applicable。
