The concentrations of microbes were determined from outdoor air and indoor surface samples in the connection of inspection of building techniques during winter, spring, summer and autumn seasons。 Average fungal spore concentration of outdoor air was highest in mid summer。 Cladosporium, Penicillium and Aureobasidium were found in outdoor air samples throughout the year。 The prevalences of Alternaria, Geotrichum, yeasts and basidiomycetes were increased towards autumn。 The changes in outdoor air micro flora are reflected in micro flora detected on the indoor surfaces of a building。 Ifother than the most common outdoor air fungi are detected on surfaces during any of the seasons, exceptional source of microbes can be suspected。 The influence of outdoor air on the surfaces' micro flora is smaller during colder seasons, when high biodiversity in samples may result from the purpose of use of the building, moisture damages, and cleaning practices。
