Gradient magnetic field can exert different magnetizing forces on paramagnetic and diamagnetic gaseous molecules。 Oxygen molecules are paramagnetic while nitrogen molecules are diamagnetic。 The magnetizing forces on oxygen molecules in the same gradient magnetic field are stronger than those on nitrogen molecules, which in opposite directions。 Based on the different effect on oxygen molecules and nitrogen molecules by gradient magnetic field, a new device for oxygen enrichment from air is reported。 The device, which is called multi-channel cascading magnets array frame in the paper, is structured by several cascading magnets。 The distributions of magnetic fields in magnetic field spaces of air flow channels and gradient fields at the boundary of magnetic field spaces is simulated。 Compared with the previous device formed by two magnets, the structure of cascading makes an increment of the magnetic flux density in magnetic field spaces and magnetic field gradient at the boundary of magnetic field spaces。 Also, the multi-channel cascading magnets array frame increases the number of airflow channels and air flux。 The new device exhibits a promising prospect for oxygen enrichment from air using interception effect of gradient magnetic field。
