The theory of mine ventilation in mine fires is the base of dealing with the great accidents of fire， and is based on ventilation pressure due to mine fire， so the calculation of ventilation pressure due to mine fire is one of the most important parts to the theory of mine ventilation in mine fires。 In this paper， several calculating formulas of ventilation pressure due to mine fire are given， which are listed commonly at home and abroad。 Through analyzing and comparing them， a modified calculating formula is put forward in view of experiment， and it is used more easily in practice。 The parameters of the modified calculating formula are easier to obtain， so it has a certain practical value。
