During the decarburization process of smelting steel and iron, not only carbon content is difficult to be detected on-line for smelting conditions, but also there are too many uncertain factors, so the endpoint control is still difficult to be accurately determined in time。 For this, non-equigap grey optimal model is given to predict carbon content during the decarburization process of smelting steel and iron。 Simulation results show that the non-equigap grey optimal model which is established with data in AOD smelting process has the high fitting precision and high prediction precision, and the relative error is between -6。40% and 3。06%。 Carbon content can be predicted well in real time with non-equigap grey optimal model。
