Decision-Making System for Talent Selection in Universities

Problems in activities of the talent selection in universities are analyzed in this paper and a new decision-making system for the talent selection is established based on two special requirements, the comprehensive ability and outstanding ability in scientific and academic research, which should be taken into consideration。 The quantificational index system and evaluation model which are scientific and rational can be used to evaluate the candidates objectively。 The operating mode of the system can perfect itself according to the selection results and the decision process is illustrated with a real life example of the talent selection。 This system can overcome many shortcomings in existing talent selection practices such as putting more emphasis on qualitative analysis than on quantitative one, easily being interfering by intuitionistic impression and making decision subjectively, and is of universal significance to the development of talent teams in universities。
