Two of the most significant types of alternative investment funds worldwide are hedge funds and private equity funds。 Historically， these two types of funds have had little else in common。 Private equity funds and hedge funds have traditionally differed with respect to their investment strategies， structures， and other fund terms。 That is， until recently， these two styles of investing may be converging。 This article helps to understand private equity， hedge fund and their convergence。
