This paper aims to characterize the community structure of phytoplankton in cold water region with different degrees of human impact in northeast part of China。 Diatoms are dominant species without human disturbance all the year round; with low water discharge, Cyanophyta, Cryptophyta and Euglenophyta are increased in spring and winter with human disturbance。 Compare to tropical region, the biomass of diatom is absolutely dominant in cold region。
