With rapid development of economy in Hainan, the environmental issue has become more and more a focus of attention. On the basis of current research achievements on carrying capacity, first of all, this article established a model of carrying capacity taking into consideration of island environmental factors. Then, with the method of this model, this article made an empirical analysis on the environmental carrying capacity in Hainan. Finally, according to issues existing in the environmental protection in Hainan, this article put forward some significant countermeasures and suggestions.
