This paper illustrates how best practices derived from building federations of Human Performance Models (HPM), environment models and equipment models in an aviation context can be applied to a nuclear context。 Modeling plant monitoring, distributed management, levels of automation, manning levels, task allocation and control room display configurations in a nuclear context is examined。 HPMs including attention guiding, vision, memory and situation awareness are discussed。
