Study on Correlation of Erosion and Deposition Change and Water and Sediment Condition in the Lower Yellow River in Non-flood Season

Because of lower sediment concentration flow, the river channel of the lower Yellow River presents an erosion state in non-flood season, but the changes of erosion and deposition are different in different reaches。 It is eroded at upstream of Gaocun, basically in equilibrium of erosion and deposition in the reach from Gaocun to Aishan, and deposits at downstream of Aishan。 By analyzing the correlations of deposition ratio of different reaches and incoming water and sediment in non-flood season, the change of erosion and deposition in the reaches from Huayuankou to Gaocun and Gaocun to Aishan is not only affected by the incoming water volume, but also by the upstream erosion and deposition as well as sediment concentration renewed。 The change of erosion and deposition in the reach from Aishan to Lijin is mainly affected by the upstream erosion/deposition as well as sediment concentration renewed。
