Citrus Huanglongbing (HLB) is a devastating disease of citrus that is spreaded by grafting infected plant tissue or citrus psyllids transmission。 Psyllid control is one of the key strategies for HLB control。 The control experiments against adult psyllid with insecticide smoke was conducted in field and green house。 The results of the green house tests indicated that the control efficacy of insecticide smoke, which composed of 80% DDVP EC, 48%chlorpyrifos EC and diesel oil with ratio of 1 : 1 : 6 and 1 : 1:9, reached 100。0% at 11 400 ml/ha after Id, and the control efficacy of insecticide smoke with the mixing ratio of 1 : 1:6 also reached 100% when the treating time was 2min, 5min, lOmin and 15min, respectively。 The results of insecticide screening showed that the mixed insecticides of 80% DDVP EC, 48% chlorpyrifos EC and diesel oil exhibited a better control efficacy。 The field trial results showed that the control efficacy of insecticide smoke with the mixing ratio of 1 : 1 : 6 at 15 000ml/ha reached 86。5% - 92。6%。 The citrus psyllid control by insecticide smoke is a new method with characteristics of effective control and low cost, and provides the uniform control of citrus psyllid。 This new control method can be applied in citrus production areas。
