Introduction: Leymus chinesis is a perennial herb of grass family chinensis genus and is widely distributed in China's northern grasslands。 It is not easy for L。chinensis to succeed to silage alone, and using silage additives could improve silage quality (Sun Juanjuan et al,2007)。Besides,different chop lengths affect the degree of compaction。This essay analyzed the effect of chop length, additives treatment and their interaction on L。chinensis silage
