Research on Droplets and Air Flow Field of Air-assisted Orchard Sprayer

The utilization of pesticide spraying in orchard is low. That is not only wasting a lot of pesticide, and also leading to environment pollution, causing pesticide residues. The main reason is that fruit tree canopy with tridimensional target characteristic makes pesticide droplets unable to deposit and distribute evenly. So pests and diseases in the centre of canopy can't be controlled thoroughly. Thus more and more pesticide have to be sprayed again and again. Based on the above problems, this paper mainly studies rules of droplet penetrating, spreading and depositing in different fruit tree canopy, to determine optimal spray parameters.
