With the widely application of concrete filled steel tube (CFST) in buildings， how to make the CFST and steel beam connected reasonable becomes one of the key problems in research。 According to the relevant research results at home and abroad， the types and the characteristics of each type of joins made up of rectangular CFST and steel beam are introduced， including inner diaphragm joint， outer diaphragm joint， Outer rib plate joint and so on。 Finally， the key problems need to be further studied are promoted。
