Torreya Grandis Seed Classification by Artificial Neural Networks

本文提出了一种基于人工神经网络的香榧子分类技术,该技术以电子鼻中的传感器阵列作为检测工具获取香榧子气味信息,并借助人工神经网络模式分类能力处理香榧子气味信息,以便最终确定香榧子的类别.为了验证该技术的有效性,本文应用四种不同类别的香榧子作为检测实例,结果表明正确分类率超过70%.
A classification technique of torreya grandis seed,based on artificial neural networks,is presented in this paper.In the proposed technique,a sensor array in electronic nose is used as a detection tool in order to obtain the volatile gas information of torreya grandis seeds.And then the gas information is sent to the artificial neural networks,by which the classification of torreya grandis seed can be identified.Four different types of torreya grandis seeds were used to verify the effectiveness of the proposed technique.It is demonstrated that the classification accuracy is higher than 70%.
