In database system context is mostly used entity-relational modeling (ERA diagrams)。 This concept integrates constructing of relations among database tables。 The main goal of ERA diagrams is to design a normalized database model。 Yet for analytical part of a project life cycle it can be inconvenient due to the lack of complexity。 In other words, it is important to understand dependencies in a range of database objects including views, triggers or procedures。 In light of understanding business processes we can speak about Database Object Dependencies Modeling (DODM) as an extension of ERA modeling。 That is to say, DODM integrates not only database tables but also dependent objects such as triggers or views。 The main purpose of this article is to introduce DODM as well as its particular attributes。
