Ethylenedinitramide as building block in energetic materials

Ethylenedinitramine was prepared。 The corresponding cesium, sodium, and several nitrogen-rich salts have been synthesized。 In addition, the anion was applied in two different transition metal coordination compounds。 The structure of the cesium, ammonium, and the complexes were determined by low temperature X-Ray determination。 Each salts sensitivity toward friction, impact, ball drop impact and electrostatic discharge have been determined。 The thermal stability of every compound was investigated by differential thermal analysis (DTA)。 Detonation parameters were calculated for several salts using the EXPL05 code。
