Effect of the Hot Water Desizing on the Surface and Mechanical Property of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polypropylene Composites

外文摘要：A hot-water desizing treatment was introduced to remove the sizing on CF。The sized and desized carbon fibers which come from three companies named as J，Z and D were injection molded into composites with polypropylene。The effect of the interface was investigated based on surface topography and tensile test。It was found that the sizing agents of J and Z does not match with PP，while D showed better compatibility。Hot water desizing can partly remove the sizing。After desizing，for the tensile strength，70％of desized J and Z samples showed an upward trend，while 27％of desized D samples showed a upward trend。
