The physics textbook "Koutou Kyouiku Butsurigaku (The Higher Education Physics)" written by Mituru Sato was published in 1927(the first volume) and 1928(the second volume). A purpose of this paper is to analyze the explanation related to Ether in the chapter on Electricity and Magnetism in "Koutou Kyouiku Butsurigaku" of the second volume. In this textbook, Ether was the postulated medium for the propagation of electric and magnetic effect. Furthermore, it was also related to generated electromagnetic field.
