In June 2022, a transformer failure occurred at the Nakajo substation on the Uetsu Main Line.At the time of this event, lightning was struck near the substation, and the amount of acetylene significantly exceeding the standard value was detected by the results insulating oil of the rectifier transformer.In order to investigate this event, we report the results of conducting an overthrow inspection of the vessel at the factory.
