The understanding of research ethics and integrity is essential to promote appropriate research activities. The Association for the Promotion of Research Integrity (APRIN) provides educational materials for this purpose in the form of e-learning programs to a wide range of research institutions and private companies in Japan. This paper aims to contribute to raising awareness of research ethics and integrity among IEEJ members by introducing the history of APRIN, the content of the educational materials it provides, and related research ethics and research integrity issues.
