Analysis of Loss and Temperature of a High Speed Motor with Composite Magnetic Fiber Rotor

In this paper, a high speed motor with composite magnetic fiber rotor is proposed。 Then the influence of three different proportions of magnetic powder and carbon fiber on the rotor on the electromagnetic properties is analyzed by 2D finite element method (FEM), including the rotor eddy current loss, the core loss and the copper loss。 Finally, the 3D models of three different proportions are built in ANSYS Fluent to analyze the heat transfer characteristics of different proportions of magnetic powder and carbon fiber。
