In this study, we investigated whether SLAM can be applied to walking on indoor routes with elevation differences by creating awearable measurement device using a LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) with a built-in IMU(Inertial Measurement Unit). Wemeasured SLAM using the prototype wearable measurement device on a route around the corridors on the 4th and 5th floors of theresearch building, and obtained good results.
