Unified Multi-area AGC System considering BSA Cascaded FOPI-TIDN Controller

扫码查看
This article examines the effect of thermal-DSTS in a two-area AGC associated with AVR system。 A novel cascade controller named FOPI-TIDN is proposed。 The bird swarm algorithm (BSA), a revolutionary meta-heuristic technique optimizes the FOPI-TIDN controller。 The suggested system dynamics with FOPI-TIDN were improved over conventional controllers。 Moreover, the effect of ISE with FOPI-TIDN controller is found to be superior over ITSE, IAE and ITAE。 Further, dynamics with BSA are analyzed over Firefly, flower pollination and cuckoo search techniques and were found to be better。 Furthermore, the impact of AVR loop is studied and enhances dynamics over LFC loop alone。
