Weight perception is considered important for immersive and intuitive manipulation of objects in VR spaces. Weight perception can be presented using a force presentation device or pseudo-haptics. However, there are problems such as the need for a dedicated device or the more difference between one's own movement and that of the avatar, the more uncomfortable it becomes. In this study, we propose a method of semi-constraining the vertical movement of the palm and using visual information to create the illusion of object weight when lifting an object placed on the palm in VR space.
