Literature during the period studying in Japan Abstract: The nineteenth century Russian literature profoundly affected Luxun's thought and creation . Coming from the ages factor and his subject emotional sympathetic resonance, Luxun paid much attention on the Russian literature in his life. Luxun was interested in Russian literature when he studied in Japan and in this period he did much work about translation and introduction of Russian literature.The literature idea, theme and art form of the 19th Russian realistic literature profoundly affected Luxun's creation in the earlier stage which he created the special style on the base. The Russian literature influence are: The “for life”literature idea was strengthened which made Luxun have a deeper understanding about the feature and faction of literature; “The small role” theme was widened and strengthened by Luxun; Luxun completed the modernization of the short novel form.Luxun's success showed that if the writer wanted to make success he must create his style on the basis of the nation tradion and foreign influence.
