This paper has four chapters. Chapter One introduces Hofstede's fourcultural dimensions , and identifies core beliefs of Chinese, formed in different periods and their consequences inbusiness; Chapter Two deals mainly with the methodology,questionnaire design, sampling and data collection; Chapter Three provides an analysis of the data collected in the questionnaire. Chapter Four gives some advice on anappropriate human resource management style in China's hotel sectors, on the basis of the findings of the survey.
