Objective:The aim of this study is to understand the effectiveness of Community Clinics(CCs)with regard to primary health care at rural level.Moreover,the study intends to identify the contemporary challenges of the primary healthcare system in rural Bangladesh. Materials and methods:This Research based on mixed method research.Data and information collected from both primary and secondary sources. Results:27.5%respondents were within age range of21-25 years.The age range of the respondents was 26 to 30 years 20.5%,The age range of the respondents was 31 to 35 years 16%.The age range of the respondents was>35 years 17%.Only three(23.1%)have sufficient instruments to render Community Clinics services.Height measuring scale was not available in nine(69.2%).Blood pressure(BP)machine was not available in two(15.4%)centers,and surprisingly,one center did not have stethoscope,whereas two centers did not have thermometer.Ambulance was not available in eight(61.5%)centers.With regards to lab investigation reports,five(38.5%)centers had urine albumin detection facility,and five(38.5%)centers had hemoglobin estimation facility.Findings showed that where the modes of CCs service delivery in the CCs is fairly satisfactory.Though some of the points of standard operation procedures(SOPs)on CCs are not covered by some CCs,those were not considered necessary.But,regarding the physical facilities available for rendering CCs services,it is seen that facilities are not quite satisfactory.Number of doctors and nurses are not very satisfactory.One of the centers under this study has no doctor,where CCs services are given by nurses. Conclusion:It can be concluded that the Community Clinics(CCs)services at the primary health care level is not adequate in Bangladesh.To ensure further improvement of the quality of Community Clinic(CCs)services,instruments used in logistics and supplies should be enhanced.
