The asymptotic behaviors around the equilibriums of the corresponding deterministic model are investigated. It is shown that the expected time average of the distance between the stochastic solution and the equilibriums of the associated deterministic model is small when the noise intensities are small, and the solution will oscillate around these steady states. The amplitude of vibration not only depends on the intensities of the Brownian motion noise but also the Levy noise. Numerical examples are carried out to illustrate the theoretical results. When both local and global environments can be perceived by individuals, they may determine whether to migrate or not based on the comparison. If the individuals realize the local environments are worse than the global ones, they are more likely to leave their original place. Otherwise, they may choose to stay still. Considering these, we study the evolutionary games in a dynamically changing population on a square lattice, in which the players migrate based on the comparison between local and global environments. The simulation results show that cooperation can be significantly promoted. By examining the strategy patterns during the evolution, we find there exist two evolutionary stages that account for the enhancement of cooperation. One is the clustering of cooperators, in which cooperator clusters get strengthened by slow migration of cooperators and fast migration of defectors. The other is the coalescence of cooperator clusters, which induces further increment of the cooperation level. Besides, we investigate the effects of two different types of noises on cooperation, which are introduced in migration and in strategy imitation, respectively. The results reveal that cooperation could be enhanced by low migration noise whereas high strategy-adoption noise.(c) 2022 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

Herd behavior is one of the characteristic crowd evacuation behaviors, which has the definite influence on evacuees' decision-making and evacuation efficiency. In this paper, the crowd evacuation observation experiments were conducted to investigate herd behavior by considered 16 working conditions, including change the number of participants, alter urgency levels and set barrier. The participant allotment and crowd movement time on different sides and exits are obtained. The judgment area and crowd density are proposed to understand the herd behavior and choices of decision maker. The critical states of herd behavior in direction and exit choices are confirmed according to the video observation and data analysis. The results indicate that herd behavior moderately leads to the different distribution and movement time of the experimental crowd. Decision maker does not present herd behavior when crowd density is relatively high or low. When crowd density in direction choice judgment area is within the range of [1/12, 1/6] (person/m(2)), and the crowd density in exit choice judgment area is within the range of [1/27, 2/27] (person/m(2)), decision maker basically triggers herd behavior. This study provides insight into the critical state of herd behavior which deepens the understanding of crowd evacuation and contributes to the reference of the crowd accident management. Additionally, highly inhomogeneous melting has gained the most interest because of its presence in experiments, such as laser impact. Understanding the fundamentals of this highly inhomogeneous melting will allow us to project these phenomena both to theory and applied cases. In this work, we present evidence via molecular dynamics simulations of a metastable solid phase in BCC tungsten produced from a highly inhomogeneous, nonequilibrium initial condition where a single atom contributes kinetic energy of approximately 0.74 keV. Despite the striking difference between this highly inhomogeneous energy injection and homogeneous melting (as is implemented, for instance, in the Z-method), the obtained critical superheated solid-state has a lifetime reaching up to 200 ps and can be described by a waiting time distribution, in qualitative agreement with previous studies on superheating (C) 2022 Elsevier B.V.
