A key to the species of this genus is provided. The geographical distribution of Andraegoidus lacordairei is now widened to Trinidad and Tobago (Talparo).

An updated key to the 13 world species is presented. The genus Symbiopsocus was described by Fasheng Li (1997) based on the type species Symbiopsocus leptocladus from China.
