查看更多>>摘要:The Japanese species of Hydroptila Dalman (Trichoptera, Hydroptilidae) are reviewed, confirming 10 described species, and introducing 2 new species. For clear comparisons and to include new details, males and females of all species, including the 2 new species, H. ogasawaraensis Ito and H. nanseiensis Ito, are redescribed or described anew. Hydroptila itoi Kobayashi is synonymized with H. dampft Ulmer and H. thuna Olah and H. botosaneanui Kumanski are recorded for the Japanese fauna for the first time. Hydroptila usuguronis Matsumura is reassigned to the genus Psychomyia Latreille (Psy-chomyiidae).

查看更多>>摘要:A cladistic analysis of the digger wasp tribe Bembicini based on morphological characters is presented. The underlying data matrix comprises 64 terminal taxa (coded on genus-level) and 54 morphological characters. The resulting strict consensus tree was used as the basis for a revised subtribal classification of the Bembicini. Based on a previously published classification, we herewith propose a number of changes. The subtribe Spheciina Nemkov and Ohl, subtrib. nov. (comprising Ammatomus A. Costa 1859, Kohlia Handlirsch 1895, Sphecius Dahlbom 1843, and Tanyoprymnus Cameron 1905) is removed from Handlirschiina Nemkov and Lelej 1996. The subtribe Stictiellina Bohart and Horning 1971, stat. resurr. (composed of Chilostictia Gillaspy 1983, GlenostictiaGillaspy in Gillaspy, Evans, and Lin 1962, Microstictia Gillaspy 1963, Steniolia Say 1837, Stictielh J. Parker 1917, andXerostictia Gillaspy 1963) is separated from Bembicina Latreille 1802. The subtribe Argogorytina Nemkov and Lelej 1996 (Argogorytes Ashmead 1899, Neogorytes Bohart in Bohart and Menke 1976, Paraphilanthus Vardy 1995) is synonymized with Exeirina Dalla Torre 1897, syn. nov. Finally, the subtribe Trichogorytina Nemkov and Pulawski 2009 (genus Trichogorytes Rohwer 1912 only) is synonymized with Gorytina Le-peletier de Saint Fargeau 1845, syn. nov. An updated identification key to the subtribes of the Bembicini is provided.

The diagnostic characters to differentiate Paraspicera from other similar genera are described. From the five known species of Paraspicera only P. bakeri Kieffer, 1907 belongs to Paraspicera; the other species are transferred to the genus Aspicera Dahlbom, 1842: A. clarimontis Kieffer rev. status, A. uthaensis Ashmead rev. status, A. foveata (Belizin) n. comb., and A. kerzhneri (Kovalev) n. comb. Paraspicera bakeri is redescribed and a new species is described: P. brandaoi n. sp. The diagnostic characters of both species are illustrated. The genus Heteras-pidia Belizin, 1952 is synonymyzed with Aspicera.

Plotinia quadrioculata Kovaf, 1995 is reported from China for the first time. All species are described and illustrated, and a key to the known species is given. The genus Plotina Lewis (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae: Sticholotidinae) was proposed by Lewis (1896) for the placement of one species from Japan, P. versicolor Lewis, which is anomalous and has a striking combination of three colors on its dorsal surface. Mader (1931) examined a cotype of P. versicolor and referred the species to the tribe Coelopterini (=Pharini), and Korschefsky (1931) also listed the genus in the same tribe in his catalogue. Mader (1955a) described P. muelleri from Fujian, China, and Kovaf (1995) added the third species, P. quadrioculata from Thailand. The genus Plotina and related genera (Sphaeroplotina Miyatake, 1969, Haemoplotina Miyatake, 1969, Palaeoneis Crotch, 1874 (=Ballida Mulsant, 1850), Paraplotina Miyatake, 1969 and Buprestodera Sicard, 1911) were studied by Miyatake (1969). Later Miyatake (1994) proposed the tribe Plotinini for the genus Plotina and related genera originally placed in the tribe Sticholotidini.
