查看更多>>摘要:The Caribbean genus Hoplocheiloma, which contains eight known species, is reviewed with the redescription of all named species and the description of the following new species: H. rhytisma, H. dominica, H. Jamaica and H. hispaniola. Hoplocheiloma notitipenne Cresson is synonymized with H. maculosum (Loew), H. fabricii Steyskal is synonymized with H. totliana (Gmelin), and Gymnosphen macropyga Frey is transferred from Hoplocheiloma to Calosphen. All Hoplocheiloma species are keyed and illustrated.

Iberanum nuragicum Gnezdilov & Mazzoni, 2003 is placed in synonymy under Hysteropterum fus-covenosum Fieber, 1877 and Issusnovaki Dlabola 1959 under Issus frontalis Fieber, 1876. A new genus Thabenula is erected for Mycterodus sulcatus Fieber, 1876. Six new generic combinations are proposed: Hysteropterum melanophleps Fieber, 1877 is transferred to the genus Tingissus Gnezdilov, 2003, Hysteropterum fuscovenosum Fieber, 1877 to the genus Iberanum Gnezdilov, 2003, Hysteropterum phaeophleps Fieber, 1877 to the genus Palmallorcus Gnezdilov, 2003, Hysteropterum striolatum Fieber, 1877 to thevgenus Tshurtshurnella Kusnezov, 1927and Issus fissala Fieber, 1876 to the genus Thabena Stal, 1866. Fourteen species described by Fieber are illustrated with his original drawings.

The genus Qwaqwaia Liljeblad, Nieves-Aldrey & Melika gen. n. is also described asnew and placed in a tribe, Qwaqwaiini Liljeblad, Nieves-Aldrey & Melika trib. n., herein erected to encompass this sole species. Diagnostic characters and a key to all eight cynipid tribes are given. With its unique South African distribution and seemingly plesiomorphic morphology, this gall wasp is important for the future untangling of the early evolution of the microcynipoids.

查看更多>>摘要:The genus Foenobethylus Kieffer 1913 is newly recorded from China. Two species: F. hainanensis sp. nov. (Hainan) and F. zhejiangensis sp. nov. (Zhejiang) are described and illustrated. A key to the world species of the genus is provided. The genus Foenobethylus Kieffer 1913 is a rare and small Oriental genus of Pristocerinae in Bethylidae (Kieffer 1914, Kurian 1954, Baltazar 1966, Gordh & Moczar 1990, Varkonyi & Polaszek 2007). In a recently published revision of this genus, Varkonyi and Polaszek (2007) have discussed the phylogenetic position of Foenobethylus within subfamily Pristocerinae and recognized five species from tropical Asia: F. gracilis Kieffer, F. bidentatus Varkonyi et Polaszek, F. elongatus Varkonyi et Polaszek, F. emiliacasellae Varkonyi et Polaszek and F. thomas-cokeri Varkonyi et Polaszek.

查看更多>>摘要:Males and females of Sergentomyia phasukae sp. nov., S. bailyi (Sinton), and S. barraudi (Sinton), and females of S. gom-boki (Lewis & Wharton) and Phlebotomus (Euphlebotomus) sp. (Diptera, Psychodidae, Phlebotominae) were collected by Malaise traps and CDC traps in Khao Yai National Park, central Thailand. A new species is described and illustrated, collection records for described species are given, and some taxonomic problems concerning the subgenera of Sergentomyia are discussed.
