Nine new species S. hasyva sp. nov., S. perdita sp. nov., S. cooperi sp. nov., S. guaraya sp.nov., S. rejectoides sp. nov., S. occipitalis sp. nov., S. tanykaju sp. nov., S. hermetica sp. nov., S. grossa sp. nov. are discribed and illustrated. New combination is proposed for S. mimica (Kohl), comb. nov. (from Paranortonia). Lectotype is designated for Nortonia polybioides von Schulthess. A key, along with full descriptions, illustrations of morphological features and distribution maps for all of the species are given.

Both sexes of the two species previously known from dicrurid hosts—P. trabecula (Piaget, 1880) and P. kalkalichi Ansari, 1955—are redescribed and illustrated.A new species, Philopterus petrescuae Adam is described from Dicrurus hottentottus from Indonesia. A lec-totype for P. trabecula is designated. A record of Philopterus crassipes (Burmeister, 1838) from Dicrurus remifer (Tem-minck) is discussed and considered to be the result of straggling or contamination.

Alexia hirtula is transferred to Del-phastus Casey (Coccinellidae: Microweiseinae: Serangiini), establishing the new combination, Delphastus hirtulus (Kirsch), and a lectotype is designated. Of the three paralectotypes, one appears to be conspecific with the lectotype, one is identified as an undescribed species of Microscymnus Champion (Coccinellidae: Cryptognathini), and one, a partial specimen lacking the head, pronotum, and one elytron, is identified as a species of Leiodidae in the tribe Scotocryptini, probably Aglyptinus Cockerell. A diagnosis and redescription of D. hirtulus is provided, and Gordon's (1994) key to Delphastus is modified to accommodate the newly transferred species. The historical classification of D. hirtulus is discussed along with characters justifying its revised placement.
