(D.) rufithorax (Wiedemann, 1823), comb. nov. (ex Deutosilpha), with Oiceoptoma tetraspilotum Hope, 1833 as confirmed junior subjective synonym, from India, Nepal and Sri Lanka; and (2) N. (D.) luciae Ruzicka & Schneider, sp. nov. from Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and China: Sichuan province. A lectotype is designated for Silpha rufithorax Wiedemann, 1823 and Oiceoptoma tetraspilotum Hope, 1833. Morphology-based diagnosis and key to adults of both species are produced. Georeferenced records for both species are mapped.

Based on our work, mainly on the fauna of the oriental region, there are still many undescribed species, including some large and attractive species, such as recently published species: G paradiana and G. nigrorubricollis (Lin et al. 2009). In this paper we describe G. changchini from Yunnan of China.

The following five species are described as new to science: Chlorops flavipalpus sp. nov., C. gansuensis sp. nov., C. liupanshanus sp. nov., C. trisetifer sp. nov., and C. xinji-angensis sp. nov. One species, C. rufinus Zetterstedt, is newly recorded from China. A key to the species of the genus from Palaearctic China is presented.

A key to all Chinese Alebroides species is provided, including 6 species reported occuring in China with specimens unavailable for this study excepts, shokanus Matsumura.

These are 2 hydropsychids, Cheumatopsyche erskinensis sp. nov. and C. howensis sp. nov., and a leptocerid, Symphitoneuria neboissi sp. nov. These are the first species recorded from Lord Howe in the respective genera and increase to 5 the number of genera recorded from the island, and to 9 the number of named species. Features of 2 distinctive but unidentified Cheumatopsyche larvae, larval cases of S. neboissi sp. nov., and the larva and case of Tasiagma eremica Neboiss are illustrated and described. Life stages of species in 3 other genera are recorded from the island: several larvae and females identified as Ulmerochorema (Hydrobiosidae); 2 females of a species of Triplectides (Leptoceridae); and a larva of Plectrocnemia (Polycentropodidae), which is illustrated. Although, conceivably, none of these 3 has permanent populations, the 3 genera are included in the checklist of Trichoptera of Lord Howe Island and in the identification keys provided for Trichoptera adults and larvae of the island.

Male and female genitalia of the new species are illustrated and compared to those of the similar species. A new status and a new synonym are presented: Lucanus thibetanus furcifer Arrow new status = Lucanus pseu-dosingularis Didier & Seguy new synonymy.
查看更多>>摘要:As currently defined, the genus Callona Waterhouse, 1840, contains nine species ranging in distribution from southwestern United States to Venezuela. However, the generic distinction between Callona and its closely allied Crioprosopus Audinet-Serville, 1834, is in need of clarification due to descriptions of both genera being based solely on females (monobasic), absence of allotypes from the type species of these genera, and from the sexual dimorphism displayed by several subsequently described species. Also, scarcity of specimens in collections is a confounding factor in making a determination in the assignment of species to either Callona or Crioprosopus.
