查看更多>>摘要：An inventory of aquatic and terrestrial Heteroptera (excluding Aradidae, Coreidae and Pentatomoidea), comprising 101 species in 23 families, collected in the Chaco National Park (NE Argentina) is presented.. Fifty species are new records to the Argentinean Chaco province, and six species represent new records to Argentina: Cryphula affinis (Distant), Valtissius distinctus (Distant) (Rhyparochromidae), Stenopoda subinermis Stal, Diaditus pilosicornis Bergroth (Reduvii-dae), Buenoa uhleri Truxal (Notonectidae), and Paravelia splendoris (Drake & Harris) (Veliidae).
查看更多>>摘要：Eight species of Kempnyia Klapalek were collected in the Mantiqueira Mountains at Campos do Jordao, of which six were known: K. colossica (Navas, 1934), K. flava Klapalek, 1916, K. neotropica (Jacobson and Bianchi, 1905), K. obtusa Klapalek, 1916, K. reichardti Froehlich, 1984 and K. tamoya Froehlich, 1984; two are new, K. pirata and K. tupinamba. One new synonymy is proposed. Comments are provided for all species from the area and a key to these species is presented.
查看更多>>摘要：The genus Sigmatoneura Enderlein is reviewed. Two new species, S. pinbiensis sp. nov. and S. aquilis sp. nov., are described from China. The distribution pattern of the 16 Chinese species is discussed briefly, with a distribution map. Identification keys for males and for females of Chinese species are provided.

(1993) in their revision of the Neotropical species of the guttatus species group of the subgenus Culicoides (Hoffmania) Fox, included 30 species of which 17 inhabit the Amazonian Region. Subsequently, Ronderos and Spinelli (1995) described C. ferreyrai from Argentina and Spinelli and Borkent (2004) C. annettae from Costa Rica. During entomological surveys in the municipalities of Parauapebas and Sao Geraldo do Araguaia, Para, Brazil, the collected specimens of Culicoides included anundescribed species belonging to the guttatus species group. In this paper we describe and illustrate it, arising to 33 the number of the Neotropical species of this group.
查看更多>>摘要：Seven new species of Molophilus (Molophilus) are described, viz. M. (M.) creticola sp. n. (Greece (Crete)), M. (M.) cypricola sp. n. (Cyprus), M. (M.) carbonis sp. n. (Portugal), M. (M.) hradileki sp. n. (Kazakhstan), M. (M.) brevifurcatus sp. n. (Czech Republic, Slovakia), M. (M.) calabricus sp. n. (South Italy), and M. (M.) suboccultus sp. n. (Portugal). Lackschewitz's (1940a) "varieties" obscura of M. (M.) propinquus (Egger, 1863) and testacea of M. (M.) griseus (Meigen, 1804) are elevated to species rank and redescribed, and a new replacement name, ibericus nom. n., is proposed for the former species. Lectotypes are designated for M. (M.) nigrescens Lackschewitz, 1940, M. (M.) ibericus nom. n., and M. (M.) pleuralis de Meijere, 1920, and the male terminalia are redescribed for M. (M.) nigrescens. All important characters are illustrated. New records of some other Molophilus (Molophilus) species are appended.
查看更多>>摘要：The Crematogaster subgenus Colobocrema was established to include the single species C cylindriceps Wheeler, based on a single queen from the Philippines. We discovered a species close to or the same as C. cylindriceps in Borneo and provide descriptions of the queen, worker and male. This species lives in live climber plants of secondary and primary rainforests. The phragmotic morphology characterising the queen caste is considered an adaptation to a stem-inhabiting life style.
