查看更多>>摘要：An illustrated key and a checklist are provided for 126 species of fruit flies under 46 genera in four subfamilies namely Dacinae, Phytalmiinae, Tephritinae and Trypetinae. Among these, Acroceratitis striata (Froggatt), Rhochmopterum venustum (de Meijere) and Themara yunnana Zia are new records for India. Bactrocera yercaudiae Drew is placed as a synonymn of Bactrocera digressa Radhakrishnan.
查看更多>>摘要：The genus Truljalia Gorochov from China is reviewed. A new species (China: Yunnan), Truljalia multiprotubera sp. nov. is described. T. prolongata Wang & Woo, 1992 is considered as a junior synonym of T. meloda Gorochov, 1992. T. viminea Gorochov, 2002is recorded to China for the first time, but T. hofmanni (Saussure) is excluded from Chinese fauna. A distribution map of all Truljalia species is presented.
查看更多>>摘要：The genus Tridrepana Swinhoe in China is reviewed, nineteen species are recognized, of which, three new species T. sub-adelpha sp. nov., T. bicuspidata sp. nov. and T. subunispina sp. nov. from Yunnan and Hainan are described; two new synonyms are introduced: T. leva Chu & Wang, 1988. syn. n. (= T. crocea (Leech, 1888)) and T. flava sinica Chu & Wang, 1988. syn. n. (= T. flava flava (Moore, 1879)); T. emina is sunk to be a subspecies of T arikana; T. argentistriga Warren, 1896 and T. rubromarginata indica Watson, 1957 are recorded in China for the first time. Descriptions for the genus and new species, a key and diagnoses for the Chinese species are provided. Illustrations of the external features and the genitalia are presented.
查看更多>>摘要：Ochthebiinae Thomson, 1859 is a subfamily of Hydraenidae represented in the Neotropical region by the genera Ochthebius Leach, 1815, Gymnochthebius d'Orchymont, 1943 and Ochtheosus Perkins, 1997 (only in southern South America, Chile). Neotropical Ochthebiinae were mostly revised by Perkins (1980). Also important are the contributions by Balfour-Browne (1971), Anderson (1983), Perkins (1997), Perkins & Archangelsky (2002), Arce-Perez & Jach (2004) and Aguilera et al. (2006). In the context of an ongoing survey of the aquatic insects of Venezuela, we present the results on the subfamily Ochthebiinae (Coleoptera: Hydraenidae) collected in Venezuela.
