We therefore reduce T. spiristylum to the synonymy of T. atriplex. Morphological distinction between T. atriplex and T. uncatum is clarified. Lectotypification is also proposed for T. atriplex.

The presence of Lyonia villosa in the country is confirmed by specimen citation. We publish a new combination, Vaccinium glaucorubrum, to accommodate the taxon earlier known as Vaccinium gaultheriifolium var. glaucorubrum at species rank. We provide a detailed morphological description of V. glaucorubrum and revise the geographical distribution of this species. We review type material of V. glaucorubrum and designate the specimen at KUN (1208884) as a lectotype. We illustrate all three species with analytical photographs of the plants in the living state.

It was not possible to assign the samples of these two taxa to any of the known Verbascum species in Iran and adjacent regions. Collating the morphological characters of the samples against the specialized and pertinent literature of the genus led us to propose them as new species. Both belong to section Bothrosperma, subsection Fasciculata. These new species are morphologically close to V. erianthum and V. songaricum based on some key characteristics, but show some differences in basal leaves shape, pedicel size, the ratio of pedicel to calyx, presence of hairs inside the corolla, and the hair color of the stamen's filaments. Distribution map and details of important characters are also presented.

Based on morphological features, the new species belongs to A. sect. Asteroprason. It differs from the closely related species A. monophyllum in several floral and leaf characters as well as the micromorphological characters of seed coat and karyotype. The new species is illustrated and Red-Listed as critically endangered and notes on habitats and distribution are provided.

This new small species, with valves linear with almost parallel margins, is formally described using light and scanning electron microscopy. The central area is rectangular, forming a rather broad fascia and the raphe is straight, filiform located on an elevated sternum. Virgae between striae are developed. The ecological preferences of Chamaepinnularia salina are presented. This species is mainly in mineral springs with Na-K-HCO3 water type.

The new species is morphologically similar to Anthurium cerrobaulense but it differs from that species in having adaxially flattened petioles, spadix up to twice as long and immature berries green, orange when mature.

Ou in 1982, and a newly naturalized species, Passiflora ligularis Juss. (1805: 113), recently found in central Taiwan. Passiflora suberosa L. (1753: 958) has been growing in Taiwan for a long period of time, and according to the description and treatment by Porter-Utley (2014), we used the scientific name P. suberosa subsp. litoralis (Kunth 1817: 138) K.Port.-Utl. ex M.A.M.Azevedo, Baumbratz, & Gonc.-Estev (2012: 47). A key to the eight Passiflora species, photographs, and their scientific name revisions are provided below to aid their identification.

A recent study by Ho et al. (2012) proposed seven name changes in the family Daltoniaceae, including the new combination Daltonia heterophylla (Wilson ex Mitten 1859: 144) B.C.Ho & L.Pokorny (2012: 172). However, they have overlooked that the combination has already been published by Arnott (1825: 55) for a different species currently placed in the Neckeraceae. According to article 53.1 of the ICN (Turland et al. 2018), this new combination proposed by Ho et al. (2012) is an illegitimate later homonym of Daltonia heterophylla (Bridel 1801: 7) Arnott (1825: 55). Since the species does not have any existing heterotypic synonym available for use, a replacement name is needed.

Phylogenetic analysis of molecular data (nrITS and nrLSU) and pairwise genetic distances, provide support for the recognition of cryptic lineages within R. mellea co-occurring in the Neotropics. We propose Rhodocybe mellea var. depressa as morphologically characterized by its depressed pileus, conspicuous sclerobasidia, small flexuouscylindrical pseudocystidia, and a smooth cutis pileipellis. In addition, we also determine the position of nrITS sequences of some sclerotium-forming fungi collected in the same area, and confirm the genus Rhodocybe as a producer of this survival structure. Our findings provide unique information on Rhodocybe in South America, and highlight the relevance of approaches that address fine-scale diversity for fungal taxonomy.
