查看更多>>摘要:RIPP has developed the third generation novel DCC catalysts aimed at increasing the propylene yield, named as the MMC series catalysts. This catalyst is of the MFI structure composed of the ZSP zeolite as the main active component, which has higher capability for producing low-carbon olefins, in particular the propylene. The commercial application of this catalyst at SINOPEC Anqing Petrochemical Company has revealed that the adoption of the MMC-2 catalyst has resulted in a 1.6—4.0 percentages increase in propylene yield under basically similar conditions in terms of the feedstock property and process operating regime coupled with reduction in gasoline olefin content and increase in aromatic content to improve the gasoline quality.
查看更多>>摘要:Shot cokes are frequently formed in the delayed coking unit treating the super viscous oil at PetroChina's Liaohe Petrochemical Company. Considerable work has been carried out to avoid the formation of shot cokes. The test results obtained have shown that the property of super viscous oil has played a key role in the formation of shot cokes. After adjusting and optimizing the process indices the operating regime of the delayed coking unit at a throughput of 118t/h of the super viscous oil is specified as follows: a reaction temperature of 498—502℃, a reaction pressure of 0.17—0.25 MPa, a recycle ratio of 0.5—0.6 and a fractionation tower bottom temperature of 355—365℃. In the meantime, the delayed coking process has adopted measures to enhance pre-fractionation of the feedstock to rationally remove light fractions and maintain a steady gas velocity in order to avoid the formation of shot cokes.
查看更多>>摘要:The study on the deactivated catalyst and the regenerated catalyst for the 70 kt/a cyclohex-anone ammonoximation commercial test unit had revealed that addition of a proper amount of silicon additive could suppress the solubilization-induced loss of silicon in catalyst while providing protection to the catalyst. Compared to the direct calcination method for catalyst regeneration, adoption of the regeneration method through pretreatment—calcination of catalyst could be more beneficial to the restoration of catalyst channels and enhancement of the performance of the regenerated catalyst, which could be repeatedly regenerated and utilized. The outcome of commercial scale testing of the catalyst had indicated the good performance of the regenerated catalyst, which could be used for four times, resulting in a reduction of the production cost of cyclohexanone-oxime in big chunks.
查看更多>>摘要:The present paper introduces the development of FCC flue gas SO_x transfer additives by RIPP with a brief discussion of SO_x transfer mechanism. The second-generation SO_x transfer additives of the RFS series are RIPP's proprietary additives with significantly improved performances. The results of commercial tests indicate that the RFS additive can effectively control SO_x emission of the FCC regenerator while maintaining product yields and product quality when the additive is used in a proper concentration range.
查看更多>>摘要:The commercial application of the decalcifying agent JCM-2004RPD at Khartoum Refinery Co. Ltd. is introduced in this article. This decalcifying agent has good effect for calcium removal. When the dosage of decalcifying agent was 1600 ppm, the decalcification rate of the crude oil could reach more than 60%, while the ash content of petroleum coke was on specification and the coke quality could meet the 3B class quality standard. After decalcification, the average calcium content in crude oil leaving the desalter was 488 ppm, and the salt content in crude after desalting could be less than 3 mg NaCl/L, with the water content in crude after desalting being lower than 0.2%.

查看更多>>摘要:The density functional theory and the cluster model methods have been employed to investigate the interactions between thiophene and the HZSM-5 zeolites. The molecular complexes formed by the adsorption of thiophene on silanol H_3SiOH with two coordination forms, and the model Broensted acid sites of zeolite cluster H_3Si(OH)Al(OH)_2SiH_3 upon the interaction with thiophene have been comparatively studied. Full optimization and frequency analysis of all cluster models have been carried out using the B3LYP hybrid method at 6-31G basis level for hydrogen atoms and 6-31+G(d) basis set level for silicon, aluminum, oxygen, carbon, and sulfur atoms. The calculated results showed that the nature of interactions leading to the formation of the zeolite cluster-thiophene and silanol-thiophene complexes was associated with the van der Waals force confirmed by a slight change of geometric structures and properties. Thiophene is adsorbed on bridging hydroxyl group prior to silanol OH group judging from the magnitude of adsorption heat. The cluster model calculation reproducing the experimental prediction to form the experimental adsorption spectra of thiophene in HZSM-5 zeolite has illustrated the validity of the proposed adsorption models.
