Tricia Barnett of Halliburton Subsea gave a presentation entitled 'Hyperbaric Welding, is it Really Different'. Introduced by Mike Lawrence, Ms Barnett first defined hyperbaric welding and explained that it can be carried out dry in a chamber at commercial diving depths for pipeline tie-ins, pipeline repairs, platform repairs and hot-taps.
