查看更多>>摘要:Supervision of industrial plants can significantly reduce the costs of maintenance by allowing the early detection and diagnosis of faults, which could be expensive to repair. Input Output Classification methods based on neural networks are proposed to detect and isolate the faults. These approaches are combined with Discrete Wavelet Decomposition (DWD). Parameters are extracted from input sub-signals and classified using input -output classification methods. The main contributions are: (1) the design of a new Input - Output Classification Mapping (IOCM) with good performances for faul detection and diagnosis; (2) the association of DWD and IOCM to improve the classification process. Bearing, belts and gears faults are tested with a mechanical rotary machine and various disturbances are also investigated with the Tennessee Eastman Challenge Process (TECP) chemical reactor.

查看更多>>摘要:The work presented here focuses on combining multiple classifiers using genetic algorithm to form a composite classifier for expert system and data mining tasks. The basis of the combination is that better concept learning is possible in many cases when the concepts learned from different approaches are combined to a more efficient concept In this paper, a genetic algorithm-based ensemble creation approach is proposed. The experimental results of the proposed algorithm, GAMRL on 22 real world data sets have shown that it provides better classification accuracies than the state-of-the-art individual classifiers. Again, our proposed approach is able to produce better and simpler ensembles than bagging method.
查看更多>>摘要:Automatic document summarization is the process of generating a summary of the original documents according to requirements with the ultimate aim of shorter reading time. Sentence extraction is a widely adopted document summarization technique by which relevant sentences are extracted from documents and presented as a summary. This paper presents comparative analysis of two approaches to generate summary from multiple documents. The first approach called clustering based summarization clusters multiple documents and produces cluster wise summary by considering feature profile which consists of features like word weight, sentence position, sentence length, sentence centrality, proper nouns in the sentence and numerical data in the sentence. The second approach called Genetic Algorithm(GA) based summarization selects appropriate sentences based on feature profile and produces optimal summary by employing fitness function which is based on summary quality criteria like maximizing length, coverage and informativeness while minimising the redundancy. Summaries generated using the two approaches are compared against human summaries using Precision, Recall, F-measure and ROUGE-1 score. The experimental results emphasize that the GA based approach is efficient and outperforms than the clustering based approach.

This tongue control system leads to a more self-supportive independent life-This paper discusses a project based on a contact sensor attached to a headset that is connected to a circuit The circuit is triggered by the sensors to control the wheelchair's motors. Results occurring from the contact between the cheek and the sensor, due to the tongue movement, apply order to the motors to work allowing the person to move right, left, forward and even to stop according to his needs. This development was accomplished to make patients feel more satisfied because it is a safe and easy technology that doesn't need any complicated programs to realize and perform the movements.

Stage-I involves tuning of Rules and Stage-II involves tuning of Rule-weights. This complete tuning strategy is applied to the Fuzzy PD+I controller of individual joints of PUMA560 robot.

查看更多>>摘要:This paper deals with Automatic Generation Control (AGC) of two area hydrothermal system under traditional scenario by considering the effect of Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage(SMES) and Thyristor Controlled Phase Shifter (TCPS). Both these devices are modeled and attempt has been made to incorporate these devices in the two area system thus improving the dynamic response of the system. The effect of these parameters on the system is demonstrated with the help of computer simulations. A systematic method has also been demonstrated for the modeling of these components in the system. Computer simulations reveal that due to the presence of SMES the dynamic performance of the system in terms of settling time, overshoot and peak time is greatly improved than that of TCPS.
查看更多>>摘要:This paper describes a GUI based multi spectral image enhancement used to achieve highly realistic and geo-scientifically corrects visualizations of real satellite imagery. Quite often the useful data in a digital image populates only a small portion of the available range of digital values. Image enhancement involves changing the original values so that more of the available range is used. This then increases the contrast between features and their backgrounds. It consists of reading the binary image on the basis of pixels taking them byte wise and displaying it, calculating the statistics of an image, automatically enhancing the color of the image based on statistics calculation using algorithms and working with RGB color bands. Finally the enhanced image is displayed along with image histogram.
