'Integrated Platform Graphical User Interface Customization' in Patent Applicati on Approval Process (USPTO 20240248765)

    153-157页
查看更多>>摘要:The following quote was obtained by the news editors from the background informa tion supplied bythe inventors: “Complex resource, product, property, or service transactions commonly include a transfersource (e.g., a seller), a transfer de stination (e.g., a buyer), as well as one or more intermediaries thatfacilitate the transaction (e.g., an agent). The transfer source, transfer destination, an d agents aretypically interconnected through multiple disparate systems without a centralized or consistent workflowmanagement. Further, the transactions may rely on data from disparate systems that are decentralizedand must be individua lly accessed and assessed by system users. Assessments often rely on subjectivefactors that are not standardized, such as agent experience or intuition. Some t echnology platformshave been developed to facilitate simple transactions involv ing low resources values that do not requireintermediaries, but such systems ar e unable to facilitate complex transactions that require third parties, disparat e communication systems, and decentralized data resources.

Patent Issued for X-ray multi-leaf dynamic collimation for multiplesource-in-mo tion tomosynthesis imaging system (USPTO 12042310)

    157-160页
查看更多>>摘要:The following quote was obtained by the news editors from the background informa tion supplied bythe inventors: “Digital tomosynthesis (DTS) is a limited-angle tomography that eliminates overlappinganatomy or composite artefact. DTS facili tates improved lesion detection, depth localization and contrastresolution comp ared with regular radiography. Compared with CT, the cost and radiation dose of DTS aremuch lower. Therefore, DTS has been recommended as an alternative to bot h chest radiography and CTfollow up. In particular, DTS has shown greater diagn ostic performance for detecting pulmonary nodules.Because of multiple projectio ns used in DTS, the patient dose is higher compared to regular radiography. This invention describes a method for significant dose reduction using dynamic multi -leaf collimator. Thestate of art radiographic and DTS systems use rectangular collimators to restrict the X-ray beam. Thesecollimator openings typically are fixed to a certain field of view (FOV) size with rectangular shape, thereforthe y cannot performance dynamic region of interest exposures. In many diagnostic ta sk, only certainregion of interests (ROIs) is important and the rest of the are a are less or not important. Therefor exposureto the outside of ROI region can be reduced or totally blocked. Effective dose to patient can be measuredby dose -area product (DAP). By reducing the exposure area with dynamic collimator, the effective dosecan be dramatically reduced. For example, reducing a 40 cm x 40 c m field of view to that of 10 cm by 10cm can result in 16 times less of DAP. Th ere are prior arts of various collimation mechanism. However, there are disadvan tages in the prior arts. The first disadvantage is that although collimation sys tems inprior arts are motorized, but they are system of fixed collimation, not dynamic collimation. So, X-ray doseat prior arts is not reduced dynamically. Th e second disadvantage is that there is no artificial intelligenceinvolved in pr ior art. Collimation system in prior arts cannot decide precise location of regi ons of interestduring X-ray scan. The third disadvantage is that most collimato rs in prior art only are using single X-raysource not multi-sources. Multiple s ources require collimation in front of every single X-ray tube.”

Patent Application Titled 'Automatic Shoe-Making Device' Published Online (USPTO 20240245172)

    160-164页
查看更多>>摘要:Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors: ““The invention generally relates to an automatic shoe-making device.“Particularly, the invention relates to an automatic shoe-making device for redu cing the working hourand promoting the production throughput.“Shoes are indispensable products in daily life, and shoes usually include an up per and a sole. Ingeneral, the upper can be made of leather, plastics, textile, etc., and the knitted uppers have become oneof the focusing developments in th e footwear industry because of their better permeability and wearingcomfort. Th e sole typically includes a midsole and/or an outsole and can be made of foamed materials orrubber materials, and the soles made of foamed material have gradua lly become the mainstream.

The mediated amplification of societal risk and risk governance ofartificial in telligence: Technological risk frames on YouTube and their impact before and aft er ChatGPT
