Research on Machine Learning Published by Researchers at University College Dubl in (Predicting the duration of motorway incidents using machine learning)

    57-58页
查看更多>>摘要:By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning Daily News Daily News – Research findings on artificial intell igence are discussed in a new report. According to news reporting out of the Uni versity College Dublin by NewsRx editors, research stated, “Motorway incidents a re frequent & varied in nature.” The news correspondents obtained a quote from the research from University Colle ge Dublin: “Incident management on motorways is critical for both driver safety & road network operation. The expected duration of an incident is a key parameter in the decision-making process for control room operators, howev er, the actual duration for which an incident will impact the network is never k nown with true certainty. This paper presents a study which compares the ability of different machine learning algorithms to estimate the duration of motorway i ncidents on Ireland’s M50 motorway, using an extensive historical incident datab ase. Results show that the support vector machine has the best performance in mo st cases, but a different method may need to be used to improve accuracy in some situations.”

Data on Machine Learning Reported by Researchers at University of Maryland (Eval uation of Stratocumulus Evolution Under Contrasting Temperature Advections In Ce sm2 Through a Lagrangian Framework)

    58-59页
查看更多>>摘要:By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning Daily News Daily News – Data detailed on Machine Learning have been presented. According to news reporting originating from College Park, Mary land, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “This study leveraged a Lagrang ian framework to examine the evolution of stratocumulus clouds under cold and wa rm advections (CADV and WADV) in the Community Earth System Model 2 (CESM2) agai nst observations. We found that CESM2 simulates a too rapid decline in low-cloud fraction (LCF) and cloud liquid water path (CLWP) under CADV conditions, while it better aligns closely with observed LCF under WADV conditions but overestimat es the increase in CLWP.”

Data on Varicose Veins Reported by Kamel Aloui and Colleagues (Development of a Web Application based on Machine Learning for screening esophageal varices in ci rrhosis)

    59-59页
