查看更多>>摘要:Globally, textile and clothing companies are seeking to increase the export rate by minimising the cost of production. The same goal still applies for Tunisian companies. Nonetheless, production cost is the most but not the only significant factor that increases the competitiveness of a product. Others are important in beating the challenge of global competition. Among these factors are deadlines, economic and social stability, proximity, competence of the workforce and quality. In this study, the SAW method was used to develop a method for the calculation of a salary bonus according to the following criteria: the quality index, performance, difficulty of work, discipline, and attendance. This method improved the skills and wages of the workforce, decreased the absenteeism rate and increased the productivity of the company. The results showed in dependence on the case studied that the quality index varied between -0.053 and 1, performance between 40.5 and 81, the ranking vector between 0.545 and 0.911, and the bonus rate between 0% and 15%. The study reduced the absenteeism rate from 13.25% to 8.3% for direct labour: The quality of production was improved by reducing the defect rate by 8.54% to 4.6%. The efficiency of the chain was also improved by 51% to 67.3%.

A survey questionnaire was developed and conducted first in a pretest by 231 participants to initially identity possible measurement problems. Another 321 potential consumers subsequently filled in the questionnaire on our website, out of which 296 questionnaires were used to verify the validity and reliability by statistical analysis and the structural equation model. The paper identifies a set of apparel safety perception dimensions that do not drive safe consumption practices. It is further seen that price is more likely to moderate the relationship with consumer behaviors than petreptions and attitudes. Therefore, the paper significantly fills the gaps between apparel safety perceptions and apparel safety consumption behavior. The findings of the paper have significant implications for apparel companies who wish to explore the apparel market potential in China.

'Textile strain sensors are smart textiles products in which the sensor's resistance changes with applied strain. This study consists in the development of a textile strain sensor and its application on a Multifunctional Intelligent Elbow Brace (MIEB). The hand-knitted sensor was developed using knitting needles. The material used for this sensor was conductive yarn and lycra. The sensor developed was subjected to a stretch recovery test using a universal testing machine,, and the electrical resistance was measured using an electrical multimeter. The sensor developed has good sensing ability against cyclic loading and unloading at a 5%, 20%, 35% strain level. After testing, the sensor was stitched on an elbow brace to develop an MIEB. This study involved the best economical method for measuring the bowling angle of the player using this MIEB without any need fora biomechanical test, which is very expensive. This MIEB can also be used for rehabilitation purposes and for monitoring joint movement.

Optical Fibers in the Design and Fabrication of Smart Garments - a Review

查看更多>>摘要:Several publications and even commercial products showcasing the application of optical fibers for textile goods abound in literature. Optical fibers can be employed as sensors by making use of physical principles to sense strain, temperature, and other quantities by tailoring the fiber such that the quantity to be measured alters the intensity, phase, polarisation, and wavelength of light within the fiber. However, a paper directed at the development of textile based applications or smart garments using optical fibers is lacking. This review seeks to serve as apt reference material for the development of optical fiber based textile sensors or smart garments with a focus on the application of plastic optical fibers (POFs). Highlighted are the salient material properties of POFs and their importance in delivering satisfactory sensing results. Special treatment has also been given to their proposed feasibility for embedment within weft knitted structures.

查看更多>>摘要:The demand and consumption of conventional concrete materials is increasing day by day, which in turn leads to the extinction of natural resources. Certain researchers tend to draw a circle to solve this global problem by finding alternative materials satisfying all aspects, mainly efficiency, eco-friendly and economical. The present research work aimed to study the combined use of coal bottom ash (CBA) and waste concrete powder (WCP) in silica fume based reactive powder concrete (SF-RPC) subjected to thermal curing. The replacement of cement by silica fume was limited to 20% and the fine aggregate quartz sand replaced by CBA and WCP varied from 5% to 25% each. The material composition of SF-RPC involves the exclusion of coarse aggregates and the inclusion of jiner materials with micro-steelfibers. The steel fibers played a significant role in older to obtain a ductile and stable product of SF-RPC. The experimental investigation on SF-RPC comprised of the determination of fresh concrete properties such as slump flaw and the compaction factor, as well as mechanical properties like compressive strength, flexural strength and split-tensile strength. The study was also extended to investigate durability properties such as water absorption, sorptivity and resistance to acid attack. The results showed that silica fume proves to be a feasible alternative to partially replace cement and also that optimum incorporation of pre-treated and processed CBA and WCP attains better mechanical and durability performance without compromising the necessary qualities.

查看更多>>摘要:In order to improve the efficiency and accuracy of predicting the thermal and moisture comfort ofskin-tight clothing (also called skin-tight underwear), principal component analysis(PCA) is used to reduce the dimensions of related variables and eliminate the multicollinearity relationship among variables. Then, the optimized variables are used as the input parameters of the coupled intelligent model of the genetic algorithm (GA) and back propagation (BP) neural network, and the thermal and moisture comfort of different tights (tight tops and tight trousers) under different sports conditions is analysed. At the same time, in older to verify the superiority of the genetic algorithm and BP neural network intelligent model, the prediction results of GA-BP, PCA-BP and BP are compared with this model. The results show that principal component analysis (PCA) improves the accuracy and adaptability of the GA-BP neural network in predicting thermal and humidity comfort. The forecasting effect of the PCA-GA-BP neural network is obviously better than that of the GA-BP, PCA-BP, BP model, which can accurately predict the thermal cold moisture comfort of tight-fitting sportswear. The model has better forecasting accuracy and a simpler structure.

The intelligence algorithm is constantly increasing its participation in development and production in the clothing industry. In this study, a variety of intelligent algorithms, including the parameterised number state algorithm, Generative Adversarial Networks, and style transfer were introduced into the multi-links of clothing product design and development, such as clothing shape, print pattern, texture craft, product vision, and so on. Men, an innovative clothing design method based on the cooperation of the intelligent algorithm and various human functional roles was constructed. The method improves the efficiency of the multiple links of clothing design, such as generating 10000 printing patterns every 72.12 seconds, and completing the migration of 92.7 frames of the garment process style every second. To a certain extent, this study realizes the scale economy of clothing design and reduces its marginal cost through the unlimited computing power brought about by Moore's law of digital technology, which provides a reference for the exploration of clothing design in the era of industry 4.0.

查看更多>>摘要:Due to the rapid production of warp knitted jacquard spacer fabric in recent years, as well as physical properties of light, heat conduction, buffering effect, compression resistance, moisture permeability and air permeability, warp knitted spacer fabric has been used more and more widely in clothing, shoes and hats, as well as in fields such as medical care, con.struction engineering, safety protection and others. The design demand for different patterns and functions is also increasing gradually. Jacquard designers established a complete design model which plays a certain guiding role in the design of warp knitted spacer fabric. It brings innovative design to the surface pattern and structure of the fabric, making it more functional. The adoption of computer aided design also has a certain guiding role in the design process. Taking the CAD pattern design of warp knitted spacer fabric as an example, which combines the functional characteristics of the fabric and the jacquard pattern. Thus, we design fabric products that meet the market demand and initiate fashion trends.

查看更多>>摘要:The interfacial structure and binding forces of polytrimethylene terephthalate/polyethylene terephthalate filament were investigated through the methods of Carbon-13 nuclear magnetic resonance (C-13 NMR), differential scanning calorimeter pso , scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and optical microscopy When two molten polymers met during the spinning process, an interface layer between the PTT and PET components formed and played an important role in binding the two components together: When the blending time was sufficient, an ester-interchange reaction took place with the generation of the copolymer. The PET recrystallisation was observed in the DSC curve under the influence of entangled PTT molecular chains. The morphology of the cross-section and side view proved that the linear boundary line was short and weaker in binding without a chemical bond and molecular diffusion. Side-by-side bi-component fiber and split-type fiber was able to be controllably spun by adjusting the spinning parameters.
