查看更多>>摘要:Objective:To explore the association of sensory processing sensitivity(SPS)and stigma as well as the mediating role of fear of progression(FoP)in lung cancer patients. Methods:Two hundred and forty-two lung cancer patients completed a self-reported questionnaire, which included the highly sensitive person scale(HSPS),fear of progression questionnaire-short form(FoP-Q-SF),and the Cataldo Lung Cancer Stigma Scale(CLCSS).Results:CLCSS was positively correlated with FoP(Pearson correlation=0.217,P<0.01)and HSPS(Pearson correlation=0.187,P<0.01),FoP was positively correlated with HSPS(Pearson correlation=0.199,P<0.01).FoP played a mediating role between SPS and stigma(a × b=0.025,95%confidence intervals[Cl][0.004,0.054]),and the proportion of mediating effect(ab/c)was 21%(ab=0.025,c=0.120).Conclusions:Patients with higher SPS reported higher level of stigma, and FoP has a mediating role between SPS and stigma. Our discussion deemed that psychological intervention may help higher SPS patients reduce the harm of FoP and further reduce stigma.

查看更多>>摘要:Objective:To construct a risk prediction model for fall in patients with maintenance hemodialysis(MHD)and to verify the prediction effect of the model. Methods:From June 2020 to December 2020,307 patients who underwent MHD in a tertiary hospital in Chengdu were divided into a fall group(32 cases)and a non-fall group(275 cases).Logistic regression analysis model was used to establish the influencing factors of the subjects.Hosmer-Lemeshow and receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve were used to test the goodness of fit and predictive effect of the model, and 104 patients were again included in the application research of the model. Results:The risk factors for fall were history of falls in the past year(OR=3.951),dialysis-related hypotension(OR=6.949),time up and go(TUG)test(OR=4.630),serum albumin(OR=0.661),frailty(OR=7.770),and fasting blood glucose(OR=1.141).Hosmer-Lemeshow test was P=0.475;the area under the ROC curve was 0.907;the Youden index was 0.642;the sensitivity was 0.843;and the specificity was 0.799.Conclusions:The risk prediction model constructed in this study has a good effect and can provide references for clinical screening of fall risks in patients with MHD.

查看更多>>摘要:Objective:To involve stakeholders in Jiangsu Province,China,to identify barriers for nonspecialist-delivered perinatal depression(PND)management to guide management in maternity and child health care institutions. Methods:In this qualitative study,semi-structured face-to-face individual interviews were used, guided by the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research(CFIR).Thematic analysis was done to categorize data using the CFIR framework's domains. Results:There were a total of 20 interviewees.Barriers coded under the CFIR framework included:needs and resources of those served by the organization, cosmopolitanism, available resources, structural characteristics, access to knowledge and information, and knowledge and beliefs. Conclusions:Implementing nonspecialist-delivered PND management poses varying obstacles in different situations.Overcoming these barriers can be accomplished by simplifying interventions based on local conditions, changing women's and families'attitudes and help-seeking behaviors toward PND,establishing linkages with psychiatry, strengthening policymakers'capacity and improving mental health care systems, developing detailed intervention manuals, enhancing clinicians'mental health literacy, and improving the operation of psychologically appropriate approaches to build self-efficacy.

查看更多>>摘要:Objective:To investigate the relationship between social intelligence(SI),empathy, and self-esteem among nursing students. Methods:A quantitative cross-sectional design was utilized to conduct this study.Data were collected from 465 students from 4 different nursing colleges between April and November 2021.The Tromso Social Intelligence Scale(TSIS),Jefferson Empathy Scale, and Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale were used to collect data.A complete enumerative technique was used to select the students at the time of data collection. Results:Most of the student nurses scored lower in SI.However, they had an acceptable level of empathy and a high level of self-esteem.A correlation was found between self-esteem and gender,as well as empathy and year of study. Conclusions:Our findings suggest that nursing students would benefit from improved SI skills.More work is needed to determine how best to incorporate these concepts into nursing curricula and create training programs for nursing students.

查看更多>>摘要:Objective:The aim is to develop and verify the feasibility of an adolescent coping model in seasonal flood-prone areas. This coping model supports mental health nurses'practical application to adolescents in flood-prone areas. Methods:We developed the adolescent coping model based on the processes established in three integrated theories:self-care management for vulnerable populations, coping approaches, and coping with disaster. We conducted semi-structured interviews with 15 participants to explore their perspectives and experiences with flood disasters. We used purposeful sampling for maximum diversity.Data were collected through face-to-face,in-depth interviews.Data were transcribed verbatim, followed by qualitative content analysis. The coping model of adolescents in flood-prone areas was analyzed qualitatively and inductively from the viewpoint of acceptability. Results:The following five categories were identified:(1)coping process post-disaster;(2)coping approach;(3)community power;(4)vulnerability;and(5)self-potential.These domains formed a model for coping model adolescents in seasonal flood-prone areas.Accordingly, our findings showed that the model could be practical for mental health community nursing. Conclusions:Mental health nurses can use the coping model for disaster mental health nursing in adolescents in flood-prone areas. The application of this model will help adolescents increase self-efficacy.
