    Research progress on detection methods of the asymptomatic COVID-19 infected persons

    查看更多>>摘要:The global pandemic of COVID-19 has brought great harm and challenges to many countries and regions around the world. The majority of COVID-19 patients have typical clinical manifestations, but the number of asymptomatic infections is increasing as COVID-19 research continues and SARS-CoV-2 testing improves. Many asymptomatic COVID-19 patients with no obvious clinical symptoms are able to transmit the virus to others due to the presence of SARS-CoV-2 in their bodies, thus greatly accelerating the worldwide pandemic and posing great difficulty and threat to global epidemic prevention and control. Therefore, early detection and identification of asymptomatic infected persons through various testing methods are effective measures to control the COVID-19 pandemic. This article will provide a brief review of the available methods and techniques for detecting asymptomatic COVID-19 patients.

    Epidemiological characteristics of 369 tuberculosis patients with multidrug resistance inHainan Island: A cross-sectional study

    查看更多>>摘要:Objective: To investigate the epidemic characteristics of multidrug resistant tuberculosis in Hainan, China, to provide basic information and theories for the prevention and control of multidrug resistant tuberculosis. Methods: A retrospective descriptive epidemiological study was conducted. Data of multidrug resistant tuberculosis in Hainan Island from January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2019 were collected for statistical analysis. The counting data were described by frequency (percentage), and the measurement data were described by mean ± standard deviation. Chi square test was used to compare the differences between different groups. If P < 0.05, the difference was statistically significant. Results: From 2014 to 2019, the multidrug resistant rate of tuberculosis in Hainan Island was 24.9% (369 / 1484), 8.0% (63 / 791) in newly-treated tuberculosis, and 44.2% (306 / 693) in retreatedmultidrug resistant rate of tuberculosis in Hainan Island was 24.9% (369 / 1484), 8.0% (63 / 791) in newly-treatedtuberculosis, and 44.2% (306 / 693) in retreated tuberculosis. The multidrug resistant rate of newly-treated tuberculosis decreased by 0.05% per year, while that of retreated tuberculosis increased by 0.03% per year. multidrug resistant tuberculosis was mainly distributed in the city of Haikou (83 cases), Danzhou (44 cases), Wenchang (42 cases), Wanning (37 cases) and Dongfang (32 cases), accounting for 64.5% of all multidrug resistant tuberculosis. Among 369 multidrug resistant tuberculosis, 81.0% were male. The proportion of newly-treated cases was 17.1% (63 / 369), while the proportion of retreated cases was 82.9% (306 / 369), which was significantly higher than that of newly-treated cases. The multidrug resistant rate of tuberculosis in different years was different. Conclusion: The drug resistance rate of tuberculosis in Hainan Island is higher than the national average level, which needs attention. The epidemiological characteristics of multidrug resistant tuberculosis with different treatment history were different.

    Evaluation of hypolipidemic activity of Brassica rapa and its mechanism analysis

    查看更多>>摘要:Objective: This study was designed to evaluate the hypolipidemic activity of Brassica rapa and explore its mechanism by network pharmacology approach. Methods: The hypolipidemic activity of Brassica rapa aqueous extract (BRAE) was evaluated by bile salt-binding capacity and oleic acid-induced HepG2 steatosis cell model. The active compounds of Brassica rapa were collected from literature, and targets were predicted from SwissTargetPrediction and SEA Search Server platform. Cytoscape 3.7.2 software was used to construct "compound-target"network. Protein-protein interaction (PPI) network was constructed by String platform. Gene ontology (GO) and Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes (KEGG) enrichment analyses based on DAVID database. Results: In vitro experiment showed that BRAE exhibited excellent bile salt-binding capacity, and the binding rates of sodium glycylcholate, sodium taurocholate and sodium deoxycholate were 36.01%, 28.93% and 78.55% at 7 g.L-1, respectively. BRAE showed a significant hypolipidemic activity on steatosis cells, which can reduce the accumulation of lipid droplets and the levels of triglyceride (TG) and total cholesterol (TC) compared with the model group (P<0.05). 21 active components of Brassica rapa and 682 potential targets were obtained, among which 55 targets were associated with hyperlipidemia. The "compound-target" network showed that 6-paradol, 6-shogaol, benzyl-beta-D-glucopyranoside, benzyl-alpha-D-fructofuranoside and liquiritigenin were core components. PPI network and KEGG enrichment analysis found that Brassica rapa could treat hyperlipemia by regulated the core targets, such as VEGFA, IL6, EGFR and PPARG, and affected 36 signaling pathways (including starch and sucrose metabolism, galactose metabolism, insulin resistance, HIF-1, PI3K-Akt). Conclusion: This study showed that BRAE had excellent hypolipidemic activity in vitro, and preliminarily revealed the multi-component, multi-target, multi-path mechanism in the treatment of hyperlipidemia by network pharmacology approach, which provides a scientific foundation for further study.

To lay the foundation for further revealing the inflammatory response mechanism of gout patients. Methods: Use microscope, scanning electron microscope, etc. to observe the microstructure of tophi, and use scanning electron microscope energy spectrum analysis, X-ray fluorescence analysis, X-ray diffraction analysis, etc. to detect and analyze the main crystalline components and chemical elements of tophi. Results: Through HE staining and scanning electron microscopy, the tophi is irregular block shape and its interior is needle shaped and radial. The energy spectrum analysis showed that the main elements of tophi were C, N, O, Na, etc. X-ray fluorescence analysis was used to detect tophi in the knees, elbows, and feet, the main elements of tophi were Cl, S, Ca, P, etc. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that the main crystalline components of tophi were sodium urate hydrate and sodium dihydrogen urate hydrate. Conclusion: The mainly elements of tophi are C, N, O, Na, Ca, Cl, S, P, etc. The main crystalline components of tophi were sodium urate hydrate and sodium dihydrogen urate hydrate.

    Effect of Shengsui Jiangu capsule on TNF-α, TGF-β1, and empty bone lacuna in rats with alcoholic osteoporosis

    查看更多>>摘要:Objective: To investigate the effect of postgraduate Shengsui Jiangu Capsule on tumor necrosis factors TNF-α,transforming growth factor TGF-β1 and empty bone lacuna in rats with alcoholic osteoporosis. Method: 120 SD rats were randomly divided into 4 groups, 30 rats in each group: blank group, model group, western medicine control group and traditional Chinese medicine intervention group.Liquor gavage was used to model the disease, except for the blank group. The western medicine control group was gavaged with a suspension of calcium carbonate and afad3, while the Chinese medicine intervention group was gavaged with a suspension of Shengsui Jiangu capsules combined with 0.9% saline solution injection. The values of TNF-α and TGF-β1 in femora were measured after 8, 12, and 16 weeks of intervention.After dissecting out the femoral head using the HE( hematoxylin-eosin staining) staining method, the bone lacunae were observed under a light microscope, and the empty bone lacunae rate was calculated for intergroup comparison. Results: Compared with the blank group, the model group had a significantly higher percentage of TNF-α and empty bone lacunae, and a significantly lower percentage of TGF-β1 (P < 0.01).Compared with the model group, the rates of TNF-α and empty bone lacunae in the western medicine control group and the Chinese medicine intervention group were significantly decreased, and TGF-β1 was significantly increased (P < 0.01).The traditional Chinese medicine intervention group was more effective than the western medicine control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Shengsui Jiangu capsule attenuates the expression of TNF-α, enhances the expression of TGF-β1, decreases the rate of empty bone lacunae, and achieves a protective effect against alcoholic osteoporosis in rats with alcoholic osteoporosis.

    查看更多>>摘要:Objective: To study the effect of Wenglian jiedu decoction on the expression of serum interleukin-18 (IL-18), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF--α) and colonic mucin-2 (MUC2) in rats with ulcerative colitis of turbid toxin type, and to explore its mechanism. Methods:60 Wistar male rats were randomly divided into model group, Wenglian jiedu decoction low, middle and high dose groups, mesalazine group and blank group. Except for the blank group, the rat model of ulcerative colitis was established by trinitrobenzenesulfonic acid (TNBS) / ethanol compound method. The general condition, body weight, fecal properties and occult blood of rats were observed 2 weeks after administration. The disease activity index (Diseaseactivityindex,DAI) was scored, the content of MUC2 protein was detected by immunohistochemical method, and the contents of IL-18 and TNF- α in serum were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (Elisa). Results: compared with the blank group, the DAI score increased, the contents of IL-18 and TNF-α increased significantly, and the content of MUC2 protein decreased in the model group. Compared with the model group, the DAI score, the content of IL-18 and TNF- α decreased and the content of MUC2 protein increased in each treatment group. Compared with the mesalazine group, the DAI score and the contents of IL-18 and TNF-α in the high and middle dose groups had no significant difference. Compared with the low dose group, the DAI score in the mesalazine group and the high and middle dose group decreased, and the contents of IL-18 and TNF- α decreased. Conclusion: Wenglian jiedu decoction can regulate the immune system of intestinal epithelium by regulating the levels of serum IL-18 and TNF- α and increasing the expression of MUC2 protein, so as to achieve the purpose of repairing intestinal mucosa.

    查看更多>>摘要:Objective: To explore the relationship between platelet/lymphocyte ratio (PLR) and neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and prognosis of lung cancer patients before cold ablation. Methods: Retrospectively analyze the case data of primary lung cancer patients who underwent cryoablation of lung argon helium knife in our hospital from January 2012 to March 2018. PLR and NLR were calculated based on the blood routine data of the patients within 1 week before the operation. value. The patients were followed up. The deadline for follow-up was June 2021. The survival curve (ROC curve) was drawn according to the patient's survival prognosis, and the Youden index was calculated to determine the optimal cutoff value of PLR and NLR, and grouped based on this analysis. The correlation between pre-PLR level and NLR level with clinicopathological characteristics and prognostic survival time of patients with primary lung cancer. Results: The best cut-off point was calculated according to the ROC curve and divided into high PLR group (PLR≥155.72, n=127) and low PLR group (<155.72, n=87); high NLR group (≥2.91, n=120) and Low NLR group (<2.91, n=94); preoperative high PLR, high NLR group pT, pN, pM and TNM staging compared with low value group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); Cox multivariate Analysis shows that high PLR, high NLR, high pT staging, high pM staging, and high TNM staging are independent risk factors affecting postoperative survival; the postoperative survival rate of the high-level PLRNLR group was significantly lower than that of the other groups, and the difference was statistically significant. significance. Conclusion: The significant increase of NLR and PLT before operation in patients with primary lung cancer is associated with poor prognosis; the combination of the two has potential clinical application value in assessing the survival of patients after surgery.

    Effects of Chinese tuina on the level changes of lumbar muscle temperature and serum 5-HT and β-EP in patients with low back pain

    查看更多>>摘要:Objective: To analyze the level changes of the degree of back pain by visual analogue scale(VAS), lumbar function (Japanese Orthopaedic Association Scores,JOA), muscle temperature, serum serotonin 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) and β-endorphin (β-EP) in patients of low back pain(LBP). Methods: 64 LBP patients treated in the tuina department of first affiliated hospital of Hainan Medical University were randomly divided into observation group (32 cases) and control group (32 cases). The control group was treated with traditional filiform acupuncture needling, the observation group was treated with Chinese tuina. VAS, JOA, muscle temperature, 5-HT, β-EP, these indexes were tested before and after treatment. Results: The VAS and JOA score in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.01), the muscle temperature in the observation group and the control group increased significantly (P<0.01), and the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05); 5-HT、β-EP was significant difference before and after treatment (P<0.01), and the level in observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: Chinese tuina has significant clinical efficacy in the treatment of LBP. The medical infrared thermal imaging technology and serum pain detection technology is conducive to objectively helpful to analyze the exact efficacy of tuina in the treatment of LBP and its impact on relevant indexes.

    Efficacy and safety of Shenshuaining granule combined with Western medicine treatment intreatment of diabetic kidney disease: A meta-analysis

    查看更多>>摘要:Objective: To systematically review the efficacy and safety of Shenshuaining granule combined with Western medicine treatment for Diabetic kidney disease (DKD) by meta-analysis. Methods: Databases including CNKI, WanFang Data, VIP, CBM, TheCochrane, Embase and PubMed were electronically searched from inception to May 2020 to collect randomized controlled trials of Shenshuaining granule with western medicine treatment for Diabetic nephropathy. The trial was screenedbased on inclusion and exclusion criteria, and the methodological quality of the included relevant trial was assessed by Cochrane Handboo-k. Meta-analysis was then performed by Revman 5.3 software. Results: A total of 9 studies involving 892 patients were included. Both groupinclude 446 patients.The result of meta-analysis showed that Shenshuaining granule combined with Western medicine treatment significantly improved the total effective rate of diabetic nephropathy [RR=1.26,95%CI (1.17,1.37),P<0.00001], further reduced ser umurea nitrogen [MD=-1.65,95%CI(-2.53,-0.77),P=0.0002], 24h urine albumin excretion rat [SMD=-4.21,95%CI(-6.23,-2.19),P<0.0001], serum creatinine [MD=-21.50,95%CI(-28.48,-14.50),P<0.00001]. However, the difference of fasting blood glucose [MD=-0.46,95%CI(-1.18,0.27),P=0.22]was not statistically significant. Conclusions: Shenshuaining granule can improve the rate o-f renal pellet filtration in patients with diabetic nephropathy, reduce kidney injury and protect kidney function.Although there are sideeffects, it is relatively safe.

    Mechanism of Guilu Erxian Gum in the treatment of osteoporosis based on network pharmacology

    查看更多>>摘要:Objective: This article uses the method of network pharmacology to study the related mechanism of Guilu Erxian Gum in the treatment of osteoporosis. Methods: Based on the TCMSP database, ETCM database, chemistry database, and DrugBank database, the potential active ingredients and related targets of Guilu Erxian Gum were obtained. The known therapeutic targets of osteoporosis were obtained from OMIM and Genecards databases, and the STRING database was used. A protein interaction network (PPI) of active ingredients-disease targets was established, and the topological parameters of the network were analyzed using Cytoscape 3.8.0 software to obtain key active ingredients and their targets. In R4.0.2, the Bioconductor data package was used to analyze the GO biological function and KEGG pathway analysis of key targets, and obtain the effective ingredients and targets of Guilu Erxian Gum for treating osteoporosis. Results: The prediction results show that Guilu Erxian Gum has 87 active ingredients and 2305 targets, and there are 4141 known therapeutic targets for osteoporosis. The two act together to obtain a total of 71 PPI core genes. The GO biological process analysis yielded 95 entries, and the KEGG pathway analysis yielded 115 pathways. Conclusion: The analysis results show that Guilu Erxian Gum may play an anti-osteoporosis effect by regulating inflammatory factors, promoting osteoblast differentiation, inhibiting osteoclast formation, and improving microcirculation. The pathways involved include TNF signaling pathways, IL-17 signaling pathway, NF-κB signaling pathway, HIF-1 signaling pathway, MAPK signaling pathway, PI3K-Akt signaling pathway, etc. This study provides a theoretical basis for further elucidating the pharmacological mechanism of Guilu Erxian Gum in the treatment of osteoporosis.
