    A Tentative Interpretation of the Picture of Dorian Gray with Psychoanalytical Method

    查看更多>>摘要：This paper applies Freudian psychoanalytical method to interpreting the characteristics of the three heroes in the Picture of Dorian Gray.Based on Freudg theory of psychoanalysis,the paper presents that the harmony of the tripartite personality is the underlying highlight of the novel and concludes that the concepts of the id,the ego,and the superego correspond with the images of Lord Henry,Dorian Gray and Basil Hauward respectively.And this paper claims that Dorian Grayg self-destruction is the most extreme development of the imbalance between the superego and the id.
