查看更多>>摘要:Recently,a dual relation T0(n+1)=THP(n)between the minimum temperature(T0(n+1))black hole phase and the Hawking-Page transition(THP(n))black hole phase in two successive dimensions was introduced by Wei et al(2020 Phys.Rev.D102 10411);this was reminiscent of the anti-de Sitter/conformal field theory(AdS/CFT)correspondence,as the Hawking-Page transition temperature could be treated as the temperature of the dual physical quantity on the boundary and the latter corresponds to that in the bulk.In this paper,we discuss the Hawking-Page transition and the dual relations in AdS black holes surrounded by dark energy in general dimensions.Our findings reveal the occurrence of the Hawking-Page transition between the thermal AdS radiation and thermodynamically stable large AdS black holes,in both the spacetime surrounded by phantom dark energy and the spacetime surrounded by quintessence dark energy.We discuss the effects of the phantom dark energy and quintessence dark energy on the Hawking-Page transition temperature.For the dual relation in particular,it works well for the case of an AdS black holes surrounded by phantom dark energy.For the case of an AdS black hole surrounded by quintessence dark energy,the dual relation should be modified under an open assumption that the state parameter and the density parameter of the quintessence dark energy depend on the dimensions of the spacetime.

查看更多>>摘要:We perform benchmark calculations of the p-wave resonances in the exponentially cosine screened Coulomb potential using the uniform complex-scaling generalized pseudo-spectral method.The present results show significant improvement in calculation accuracy compared to previous predictions and correct the misidentification of resonance electron configuration in previous works.It is found that the resonance states approximately follow an n2-scaling law which is similar to the bound counterparts.The birth of a new resonance would distort the trajectory of an adjacent higher-lying resonance.
查看更多>>摘要:In this work,we study the interaction between two colloidal particles in a liquid crystal that is in the isotropic phase.The interaction is caused by surface-induced polarization of the liquid crystal molecules in the vicinity of the particles.We find that the interaction is short-ranged in both 2D and 3D geometry.Under symmetric homeotropic anchoring conditions,the interaction is repulsive.While under anti-symmetric homeotropic anchoring conditions,the interaction is repulsive at short distances but attractive at intermediate distances.The particle size has a strong impact on the effective interaction force.
查看更多>>摘要:The field of terahertz devices is important in terahertz technology.However,most of the current devices have limited functionality and poor performance.To improve device performance and achieve multifunctionality,we designed a terahertz device based on a combination of VO2 and metamaterials.This device can be tuned using the phase-transition characteristics of VO2,which is included in the triple-layer structure of the device,along with SiO2 and Au.The terahertz device exhibits various advantageous features,including broadband coverage,high absorption capability,dynamic tunability,simple structural design,polarization insensitivity,and incident-angle insensitivity.The simulation results showed that by controlling the temperature,the terahertz device achieved a thermal modulation range of spectral absorption from 0 to 0.99.At 313 K,the device exhibited complete reflection of terahertz waves.As the temperature increased,the absorption rate also increased.When the temperature reached 353 K,the device absorption rate exceeded 97.7%in the range of 5-8.55 THz.This study used the effective medium theory to elucidate the correlation between conductivity and temperature during the phase transition of VO2.Simultaneously,the variation in device performance was further elucidated by analyzing and depicting the intensity distribution of the electric field on the device surface at different temperatures.Furthermore,the impact of various structural parameters on device performance was examined,offering valuable insights and suggestions for selecting suitable parameter values in real-world applications.These characteristics render the device highly promising for applications in stealth technology,energy harvesting,modulation,and other related fields,thus showcasing its significant potential.
查看更多>>摘要:Long-range magnetic order appears on a side decorated Heisenberg spin nanoribbon at nonzero temperature,although no spontaneous magnetization exists in a one-or two-dimensional isotropic Heisenberg model at any nonzero temperature according to the Mermin-Wagner theorem.By use of the spin Green's function method,we calculated the magnetizations of Heisenberg nanoribbons decorated by side spins with single-ion anisotropy and found that the system exhibits a nonzero transition temperature,whether the decorated edge spins of the system link together or separate from each other.When the width of the nanoribbon achieves infinite limit,the transition temperatures of the system tend to the same finite constant eventually whether one edge or both edges are decorated by side spins in the nanoribbon.The results reveal that the magnetism of a low-dimensional spin system is different from that of a three-dimensional spin system.When the single-ion anisotropy of edge spins in a Heisenberg spin nanoribbon can be modulated by an electric field experimentally,various useful long-range magnetic orders of the system can be obtained.This work can provide a detailed theoretical basis for designing and fabricating next-generation low-dimensional magnetic random-access memory.
查看更多>>摘要:This study explores the presence of diverse phase diagrams and hysteresis characteristics,as well as their dependencies on segment dilution,in an Ising-type core/shell segmented nanostructure.The magnetic and hysteretic behavior of the nanostructure was carefully investigated by employing the effective-field theory and its respective diluted parameters.The phase diagrams reveal characteristic phenomena that are influenced by the dilution parameters.Specifically,this study examined the variations in phase transitions and tricritical points by altering the dilution and physical parameters of the segments.The investigation also encompasses an examination of the hysteresis characteristics,including the hysteresis loop,coercivity,and remanence,in relation to the segment dilution dependence of the segmented nanowire.It was discovered that as the temperature rises,the hysteresis loop areas diminish.However,intriguingly,at specific dilution and crystal area values,the hysteresis loop areas exhibit an augmentation.
查看更多>>摘要:Using the modified Blonder-Tinkham-Klapwijk(BTK)theory,the interplay between the lifetime of quasi particles and the magnetic gap in a topological insulator-based ferromagnet/f-wave superconductor(TI-based FM/f-wave SC)tunnel structure is theoretically studied.Two symmetries of f1 and f2 waves are considered for superconducting pairing states.The results indicate that reducing the finite quasi-particle lifetime will induce a transformation of energy-gap peaks into a zero-bias peak in tunneling conductance spectrum,as well as a transformation of energy-gap dips into a zero-bias dip in shot noise spectrum,ultimately resulting in the smoothing of the zero-bias conductance peak and the zero-bias shot noise dip.An increase in magnetic gap will suppress the tunnel conductance and shot noise when the conventional Andreev retro-reflection dominates,but will enhance them when the specular Andreev reflection is dominant.Both specular Andreev reflection and conventional Andreev retro-reflection will be enhanced as the quasi-particle lifetime increases.When Fermi energy equals the magnetic gap,shot noise and tunneling conductance vanish across all energy ranges.These findings not only contribute to a better understanding of specular Andreev reflection in the FM/f-wave SC junction based on TIs but also provide insights for experimentally determining the f-wave pairing symmetry.
